HOWDY Don & Rachel, Owners of Lucky T Ranch Lucky T Ranch was established in 2002, when Don and Rachel met, we had both been involved in the horse world for several years, pretty much our lives. We both had at that point experience in different areas, from competing, to training, to breeding. We combined our talents, goals, and desire to create Lucky T Ranch. We have a common desire, and that is to share our own heart and soul with the world, from the back of a horse. Raising quality quarter horses is a goal of ours, and we are constantly changing and growing to keep up with this fast and amazing industry. We concentrate on raising high percent Foundation Quarter horses, that we are then crossing on today's Black Type Performance horses. We like to have horses that can do it all, from riding the trail, to hunting the cows, to showing in the ring. We like them to be calm, smart, and willing. We here what people want, and we are striving to reach that Ultimate Horse!! Versatility is the goal. Conformation is number one to us. We don't like to see these fine boned animals that cannot hold up in hard competition, or everyday ranch work. We want a horse that is sound in every way, including the mind, so Disposition is next in importance. Thirdly we like to have a Pedigree that is backed by top quality stock from the infamous King P-234, the traditional Blackburn, to the one of a kind "Little Peppy", Peppy San Badger. Finally we all have our personal favorites, as you can tell someone here likes bays, but color is not more then the bow on the package! Wether you came looking for a weanling, or a finished horse we stand by a guarantee that when they are ready to leave the ranch, they leave with our brand, and man's best kept secret for a friend. We want people to share our passion for these amazing animals. Quarter Horses, especially these Foundation Quarter Horses, have talent beyond belief, ability that reaches the stars, and heart that cannot be measured. Zip & Gunner All our finished horses have been trained with an emphasis in reining, then they are taken down the path that best suits them. We believe in matching horse and rider, and want everyone to be happy when they leave. Customer Satisfaction is a guarantee. Lucky T Ranch is located just outside a small town called Ririe, Idaho, located in Southeast Idaho. We have 40 acres, with a 100 X 180 outdoor arena, 60 X 60 hay shed/stall barn, several corrals and pens with shelter, and some of the best pasture this side of the Mississippi. We are only 2 miles from the South Fork River, 20 minutes from Idaho Falls, Idaho, and 75 miles from Jackson Hole, Wyoming. We are surrounded by some of the best country in the world, with unlimited trails to ride, rivers to fish, and places to explore. We share our lives with one amazing little girl Macy, and two dogs Gunner, and Zip.
