Baby Boy (2009)

Birch Creek Red Birch  x  Cookin Nicola

Born May, 23, 2009 8:00 am
Sorrel Colt Blaze and two tall hind socks

Big, perfect colt. Never had a chance. He suffered from congenital defects and passed immediatly after being born. He will be healthy and happy now. Mom is doing fine, and once she recovers from her depression, she will hopefully be in Foal to Babes Lil Blackburn for 2010. Lets keep our fingers crossed on her. She was a great mama, and did her best. We are excited about her future here with us! Gone to Greener Pastures!

PENDING

  x  MS Dollie Blackburn

Born May 20, 2009
Red Dun Filly with white star, possibly some white on pastern/fetlock area. She is super sweet and gentle. She is already halter broke!!!!! Really an easy going filly, one of the quietest we have had so far. She seems smart, and athletic with style and grace. Dam is new to our herd, but has out treasured Blackburn breeding and we will get her added to the web site pronto. Sire is an outside horse, but he makes a beautiful baby. Her name means Bright in French, and it suits her perfect. When I saw her is the first dawn of day she just glowed and shimmered like gold!

WILL BE AVAILABLE TO LEAVE MOM AROUND MIDDLE OF OCTOBER 2009! $800.00

Babes Lil Blackburn  x  Painted Sagebrush

Born: April 10 2009 at 5:00am
Sorrel, white star not sure if there are other white markings.

He is stout!! Quick and smart. Really a nice typical Lucky colt. He is a great build, lots of that Wild Mustang bone, and he is going to be classy. All though he is going to be grade, doesn't mean anything about the ability he is going to have. Snap him up before we decide to keep him.

We do accept payments on our foals, and they are not weaned until at least 5 months of age. Email for further information.

Due to the economy we are trying to move forward in the horse business, so we are lowering our prices on our horses. NOT becasue the quailty has gotten poor, it is probably only going to get better, but more so that you can continue to enjoy the quality, and afford to have it in your pasture! $1000
